Each day of my workweek I am constantly being put on hold or putting others on hold. That is because much of my job requires that I answer phone calls or make phone calls to others. It has come to my attention that a certain phrase is used, quite frequently by myself and by others also. That phrase is, “One moment please”! It is amazing what you can find on YouTube. I ran across a video that was very amusing. It was a scene from the TV game show “The Price Is Right”. A young lady was given 10 chances to win three prizes. The object of the game was to guess the exact price of each of the three prizes and as I stated she only had ten chances to guess the correct prices. She was quiet confused on how to play the game and really gave the TV host (Bob Barker) a challenge. He was so tired of trying to help her understand how to play the game that at the end of her ten tries he sat down on the floor. He looked exhausted! It was truly priceless! Continue reading →
